East Sussex Skills Academy formally known as The Workplace AP Free School was inspected by Ofsted on the 4th and 5th of February 2025. The inspection became a graded inspection on day one, and the school was assessed as having serious weaknesses and requiring significant improvement. A copy of the final report is available below.

A post Ofsted action plan has been developed and efforts to future secure safeguarding arrangements are underway. The Trust is committed to working collaboratively with commissioning schools, the Department for Education and Local Authority to make the required improvements at pace.
