Beverley Noble
Beverley has over 30 years of experience in Further Education and has dedicated their career to improving the quality of teaching, learning, and student outcomes. In their most recent role as Quality Improvement Manager at London South East Colleges, Beverley led quality enhancement initiatives, supported curriculum development, and helped prepare the college for Ofsted inspections. Jody is a school governor at East Sussex Skills Academy and brings a strong background in skills-based education, vocationaltrainingand business leadership to the governing body. He has taught and assessed in practical pathways, including hairdressing and other skills-focused programmes, giving him direct experience of the vocational routes that support young people in developingconfidence, technicalcompetenceandemployability.
Alongside his teaching and business career, Mr Brooks works in the field of wellbeing and personal development, withaparticular interest in resilience, mentalhealthand authentic living in midlife. His professional and lived experience enable him to contribute to discussions on curriculum design, safeguarding,behaviourand attendance, and on how best to prepare learners for both employment and self-employment.
As a governor, Jody is committed to promoting high-quality vocational education, inclusivepracticeand a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil can accessappropriate pathwaysand build a positive future. He takes a particular interest in ensuring that the Academy's provision reflects local labour market needs while also supporting students' wellbeing and personal growth
