Mathematics develops the problem-solving, reasoning and analytical skills that are used every day, both in education and in the workplace. It is one of the most valuable qualifications students can achieve and is highly regarded by colleges, employers and universities.

Students work towards GCSE Mathematics, while also developing Functional Skills in Mathematics where appropriate. Lessons focus on building confidence, resilience and logical thinking while applying mathematical knowledge to practical, real-life situations. Mathematics provides the skills needed to make informed decisions, solve problems and prepare for a wide range of future careers
